The Green Machines · Book Two
Danny
Danny is Book Two of The Green Machines, a children's picture book series by David Woods. The tidy truck with a list for everything.

The tidy truck with a list for everything.
Danny is not the fastest of the Green Machines and he is not the biggest, but he can carry four whole tonnes and he ticks off every job on his list. When the wind blows Farmer Geoff's gate open and ten sheep wander up High Hill with a storm on the way, rushing does not work and shortcuts do not work. It is a job for a looked-after lorry.
What is it about?
Slow and steady, and looked after, gets the job done. A looked-after lorry is a ready lorry.
