Linda and Kitty to the rescue after a tumble off a bike.

Kitty the ambulance never bumps and never bounces, and Linda the Nurse always takes a plaster, just in case. When Poppy falls off her new red bicycle in Bumpy Lane, Scotty and Percy offer a fast ride home, but a sore ankle does not like rattling or bouncing. Meanwhile Alan the postman is so busy chasing the ambulance with a bunch of flowers that he ends up in the pond.

What is it about?

Gently does it. Being careful is a strength, and rushing helps nobody.

Which real vehicle is Kitty based on?

Real Kitty is an Austin K2/Y ambulance, known to soldiers as Katy. She was built at Longbridge in Birmingham between 1939 and 1945, and just over 13,000 were made. Princess Elizabeth, who grew up to be the Queen, drove one when she was a young soldier.
