Too wide for everything, until Show Day on Steep Hill.

Harry is new in Little Muddlebury, and Harry is wide. He gets stuck in Muddle Lane, stuck in Farmer Geoff's gate and stuck on the three-hundred-year-old bridge. Then the wind blows on Show Day, and the tea tent has to get to the top of Steep Hill without spilling a crumb of Mrs Tabiner's cake.

What is it about?

Everybody is built for something. The thing that makes you awkward in one place can make you exactly right in another.

Which real vehicle is Harry based on?

Real Harry is an HMMWV, pronounced Humvee: a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, first built in 1985 in Indiana, USA. He is 2.16 metres wide, which is why real Humvees do not fit down English lanes either.
