Cheeky, quick and wobbly, and he never, ever plans ahead.

Willy is small and quick and very cheeky, but he wobbles when he goes fast and he never plans ahead, so he runs out of fuel nearly every week. When a great storm blocks Depot Road and the village is left cold, dark and hungry, Chuck and Bertie get stuck on the twisty old cart track through Tangle Wood. It takes a wobbler to find the way, and Willy's two round headlamps lead the convoy home.

What is it about?

The things that make you different can be exactly what is needed. And it takes a planner and a wobbler together to get the job done.

Which real vehicle is Willy based on?

Real Willy is a Willys MB. He was built in America between 1941 and 1945, and more than 600,000 were made. He weighs about one tonne, so four strong people can lift him. All four wheels can pull at once, his little Go Devil engine could take him to 65 miles an hour, and his windscreen folds flat onto his bonnet.
